چکیده
Starting from ,the concept of cognitive representation we develop the notion of knowledge representation systems. A knowledge representation system establishes a correspondence between two bodies of knowledge. It can be used to convert one form of knowledge into another. The implications of this concept for artificial knowledge based systems are investigated. We demonstrate the usefulness of knowledge representation systems by an application to a task in office automation, the design of a meeting scheduling system.
